WR-ALC virtual reality paint simulator enhances classroom experience

ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. – Todd Lavender, 402nd Aircraft Maintenance Group corrosion control process manager, guides Glenn Cross, 588th Aircraft Maintenance Support Squadron aircraft painter, through the virtual reality simulator goggle setup at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, Sept. 24, 2021. The aircraft painters are able to get hands-on painting experience for a C-5 or Global Hawk aircraft without going into a hangar to paint on the actual aircraft.
