Tinker AFB is aware OKC Mayor Holt issued a 'Shelter in Place' order in Oklahoma City effective 11:59 p.m. March 28 - April 16.  This order is meant to align with Oklahoma Gov. Stitt's previous state-wide emergency declaration and is in coordination with other large Oklahoma cities.

What this means for Tinker AFB: Mayor Holt's order aligns with military travel restrictions already in place at Tinker, with civilian workers and contractors strongly encouraged to comply as well. Please speak with your supervisors and leadership regarding work schedules and mission essential status.
