TINKER AIR FORCE BASE -- Michael Dey of the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center Information Technology Directorate is this month's Safety Hero Award winner.
Mr. Dey used his unique IT computer skills and personal initiative to animate nearly two dozen safety slogans for use during this year's 101 Critical Days of Summer.
His animated characters have been displayed throughout the OC-ALC on dozens of plasma screen TV's to warn fellow employees of the many dangers encountered during the hot summer months.
His initiative and hard work have undoubtedly benefited hundreds of fellow employees and made Tinker safer for everyone on or off duty.
Congratulations and thanks again to Mr. Dey for his exceptional work at improving safety.
If you have seen someone going beyond the call of duty to improve safety conditions at Tinker, nominate them as a "Safety Hero" to the Safety Office at ocalc.se.workflow@tinker.af.mil.
