Every member of Team Tinker deserves the very best support to ensure their success. The 72nd Medical Group strives to improve the services we deliver to the 17,000 patients enrolled to our Military Treatment Facility and the 63,000 beneficiaries who access their Tricare benefit through the use of our pharmacy.

Improvements start with feedback from our valued customers. In 2016, our customers told us that we needed to improve access to care. In response, we are changing how we conduct required readiness training to increase access to care. Previously, the 72nd Medical Group was closed every Wednesday morning to conduct training. Now the 72nd Medical Group will remain open every Wednesday morning for patient care and pharmacy services, while readiness training will now occur on the third Wednesday afternoon of every month. Wednesday, Jan. 18 will be our first afternoon with a training day schedule. On that day, hours of operation including our pharmacy drive-thru will be 7 to 11 a.m. This change will achieve a net gain of approximately 500 morning appointments each month for Team Tinker. During the new training day, our appointment line will close at 10 a.m., at which point the Nurse Advice Line will remain open to assist with any urgent care issues. Routine & follow-up appointments can be made through Tricare Online & MiCare. On-call services & the pharmacy phone line will remain operational.

Updates to our Medical Group schedules and services are posted to our website as well as the 72nd Medical Group Facebook page. Thank you for your ongoing feedback with helping your 72nd Medical Group improve.
