For 15 June, Tinker AFB remains in HPCON Bravo due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The latest COVID-19 confirmed cases through last week and the weekend include a civilian assigned to the 776 MXS in building 9001 and a contractor assigned to the Communications Directorate in building 3001G. Health officials are actively tracing all recent movements and contacts in conjunction with affected units and local health authorities. Anyone considered to have been exposed to increased risk will be contacted directly.

In an effort to minimize the spread of COVID-19 and prioritize the health and safety of participants, Air Force officials have cancelled in-person running of the 2020 Air Force Marathon. For those participants who are registered, the Air Force Marathon team has developed three options to choose from. Additionally, for those who have yet to register, there is still time to sign up to participate in the virtual events. Options virtual race, gifting an airman your registration for 2021, or deferral.
