For 16 June, Tinker AFB remains in HPCON Bravo due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The latest COVID-19 confirmed case is a member of the 552 ACW who works from building 201. Health officials are actively tracing all recent movements and contacts in conjunction with affected units and local health authorities. Anyone considered to have been exposed to increased risk will be contacted directly.

Many factors drive installation commanders’ decisions to change HPCONs. Among these factors are transmission levels across a base and local area compared to medical capacity both locally and on base. Commanders always seek advice from base Public Health officials and evaluate inputs from other health organizations across the state.
