Pvt. Vernon Paul Keaton returns to Oklahoma for internment
A Marine Corps carry team transfers the remains of Marine Pvt. Vernon Paul Keaton November 14, 2017, Will Rogers World Airport, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Keaton was killed Dec. 7, 1941, during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Marines from Rocket Battery F, 2nd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, based at the Marine Corps Reserve Center in Oklahoma City provided the carry team and honors and were joined by a flag detail from the Department of Homeland Security/Transportantion Security Administration shown in the background.
