A-10 engine undergoes restoration

Josh Avery, 571st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, works on an A-10 Thunderbolt II engine at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The A-10 spent more than three years at Hill being restored by the 309th Aircraft Maintenance Group. The mission of the Air Force Sustainment Center is to provide sustainment and logistics readiness to deliver combat power for America. The center provides globally integrated, agile logistics and sustainment to the warfighter through world-class depot maintenance, supply chain management and installation support.
