Welcome Staff Sergeants- Celebrate with Team Tinker
Team Tinker celebrated the induction of its newest non-commissioned Officers (NCOs) in a formal ceremony held on September 5, 2025. This marks a significant milestone in the careers of Airmen recently selected for the rank of Staff Sergeant.
More than 180 Senior Airmen assigned to Tinker Air Force Base were selected for advancement to Staff Sergeant in the 25E5 promotion cycle.
According to Air Force Personnel Center a total of 15,894 senior airmen were selected for promotion to staff sergeant out of 47,007 eligible for a selection rate of 33.81 percent.
The Team Tinker NCO Induction Ceremony was a celebration of achievement, leadership, and dedication to service. It served as a formal welcome to the newest members of the NCO corps, reminding them of the high standards they will be held to as they lead the next generation of Airmen.
The ceremony concluded with celebratory refreshments -- all with no landing fee.
