72nd Air Base Wing Commander Col. Kenyon Bell welcomes guests to the Black History Month Luncheon at the Tinker Club Feb. 21. The annual event featured Rev. A. Byron Coleman III, with the Fifth Street Missionary Baptist Church, as the guest speaker. This year's Black History Month theme was Black Migrations, which occurred between 1915 and 1970. Six million African Americans moved to different regions across the United States in search of higher wages and better social and political opportunities.
