Maj. Gen. Warren D. Berry, Air Force Materiel Command vice commander, is welcomed by Tinker Air Force Base senior leaders upon his arrival to Tinker Air Force Base Sept. 12. General Berry was making his first full immersion visit to Tinker. During his two-day trip, General Berry received a holistic immersion of the Air Force Sustainment Center, to include the 72nd Air Base Wing, the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex and Life Cycle Management Center offices currently housed in Bldg. 3001, headquarters to the AFSC and OC-ALC. Greeting General Berry are Brig. Gen. Tom Miller, AFSC vice commander, and Col. Stephanie Wilson, 72nd ABW commander. As vice commander of AFMC, which employs some 80,000 people and carries $60 billion of budget authority annually, General Berry oversees activities in six different centers responsible for installation and mission support, discovery and development, test and evaluation, life cycle management services and sustainment.
