The Tinker Education Services Center offers a variety of services to base military personnel and their dependents. Tuition assistance is available to military personnel to help defray the costs of tuition for accredited colleges and universities taught either on or off-base. Six institutions offer noon time, evening and weekend courses on-base, while more than a dozen institutions are available within commuting distance off-base. Degrees ranging from technical and occupational areas though the associate, bachelor, master and doctorate degree levels are available. All military personnel assigned to Tinker and their dependents are considered in-state residents for tuition purposes. Professional counselors are available to discuss educational opportunities available in both the on-base and local area as well as Air Force worldwide. Appointments are not required to visit the center, which is located in Bldg. 201SE, at the intersection of 1st Street and C Avenue.
