Youth Programs
The Tinker Youth Center offers a variety of educational, social, recreational and physical programs for children ages 3-18 years, the Membership Program for pre-teens 9-12 years, teens program for ages 13-18 years, the School Age Program, the Sports and Fitness Program, and Instructional Classes.

Mon-Thu: 3:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Teens Only: 7 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Friday: 3:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Teens Only: 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Tinker AFB Youth Programs is for youth ages 3-18 years old. We are affiliated with Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) and offer the following programs in BGCA's Five Program areas:
Education and Career Development
The Arts
Health and Life Skills
Character and Leadership Development
Sports, Fitness, and Recreation
Along with offering BGCA programming, we also offer three 4-H programs throughout the year. The goal of 4-H programming is the growth and development of young people. 4-H is instructed in the Four Essential Elements (Belonging, Mastery, Independence, and Generosity) in a non-formal setting. We work closely with Oklahoma County 4-H Extension Office and Oklahoma 4-H Military Liaison to offer a variety of projects/programming.
Here are some of the classes offered:
TaeKwon Do
Ages 6 and older
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6-7pm
Cost is $60 per month
Dance Classes
Ages 3 and older.
Variety of classes including jazz, tap, ballet, pom pom and hip hop.
Times and days vary depending on the class.
The classes start at $40 per month.
Membership Information
Youth Center Membership is $60 a year per child. The Membership Program is open to youth 10-18 years of age who are dependents of active duty military, retirees, DoD civilians and contractors. The membership program offers several types of clubs: Torch Club for youth ages 9-12 and Keystone Club for youth ages 13-18. Membership also offers Power Hour during the school year, Fit Factor, Smart Girls, Passport to Manhood, Career Launch, Money Matters, Fine Arts, crafts, internet access, computers, Playstation 2 and many more activities on a daily basis. During summer we offer a variety of weekly day camps and several overnight camps.
