Banks Tinker Public Affairs TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- The Tinker Nordiques have gone through the up and downs of a tumultuous hockey season. After a seven game unbeaten streak, the team is now in the midst of a two-game slide after losing to the Jets 5-2 Aug. 23 at the Arctic Edge Ice Arena in Edmond. "We played real well during that streak, and now we need to find our edge again," said Jeremy Brennan, Tinker Nordiques center man. The Jets got on the scoreboard early and often, scoring five unanswered goals in the first two periods. The Nordiques got on the scoreboard in the third period on an goal by left winger Bryson Harley. At the 3:22 mark of the third, Harley took a pass from Brennan at center ice, skated in all alone on the Jets goaltender for the goal. The Nordiques rounded out the scoring as center Jason Stefanski scored on an unassisted goal late in the period. He intercepted a errant pass at the blue line and put a quick wrist shot in the lower left corner of the net, cutting the score to 5-2.
