TINKER AIR FORCE BASE -- The Cabin Fever Golf Tournament will be held March 7 beginning with 1 p.m. tee times. This tournament will be a four-person scramble and is $100 per group. The price includes cart and lunch, but does not include green fees. There will be a barbecue lunch served before play. Stop by Tinker Golf Course or give them a call at 734-2909. Entries will be accepted through close of business March 4.
   Cash in on an early-bird special. Groups of 36 players or more that schedule and play a tournament by April 15 receive free lunch before play on tournament day. Lunch is a chopped barbecue sandwich, baked beans and potato chips. Don't delay; call 734-2909 to book a tournament today.
   The golf course uses the United States Golf Association Ghin handicap system. The system is administered through the Oklahoma Golf Association and accepted throughout the United States. There is a $20 fee per calendar year for this service.
   Golf course patrons can save 20- and 35-percent off daily green fees by purchasing a punch card. Punch cards are available in increments of 20 and 50 golf rounds and can be used by any member of the purchaser's immediate family. The punch cards may be purchased in the pro shop, Bldg. 6601, or by calling 734-2909.
   Punch cards are a great way to pay now and play later. Advanced green fees are available for unlimited play.
   Advanced green fee cards expire 12 months from the date of purchase. Purchasers of golf course advanced green fees (annual or punch card) will be able to have the total purchase price billed monthly over a 12-month period. The fees may be charged on any Visa or MasterCard. In case of deployment or an illness that prevents the purchaser from playing golf, fees may be suspended until which time play can resume.    The golf course offers a discount senior fee for golfers 62 and older. Retirees pay at their retired grade.

   Tinker Golf Course Grill is open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. Snacks and beverages are available in the pro shop after 2 p.m.
   Every Tuesday, enjoy a delicious taco salad and drink for $4.95 at the grill. Wednesday is National Pancake Day and to celebrate, enjoy 50 cent pancakes with purchase of drink. Feb. 23 is National Chili Day, so with the purchase of a drink, enjoy $1 bowl of chili.
   Tinker Golf Course, Bldg. 6601, is open daily from 7 a.m. to dusk, weather permitting, to active duty, retirees, reservists, Department of Defense civilians and family members.
