Tinker Frontlines: Meet Myron Knight

Myron Knight is a logistics management specialist in the 429th Supply Chain Management Squadron. In his job with the 448th Supply Chain Management Wing, he oversees the Reverse Engineering/Repair Development program, supporting squadrons at Hill, Robins and Tinker to find alternate sources of supply to create competition and save the U.S. Air Force money.

Knight has 14 years of service and is from Oklahoma City.

He is an avid bike rider, often competing in 100-mile bike rides.  He is a district commissioner of Boy Scouts of America. 

Knight also serves as the head of hospitality and head of security for the St. John Missionary Baptist Church.  In this position, he is responsible for the protection of church property and health and well-being of the congregation.  In response to COVID-19 mandates, he led the closing and reopening of church activities.  He established protocol for systematic disinfecting of facilities and instituting a process of contacting individuals potentially exposed to infected members.
