2008 golf season kicks off in March

March kicks off 2008 golf season for Tinker Golf Course! This season is the time to get outside and play golf.
   Tinker Golf Course has the tools to get you into golf playing shape, whether the need be for clubs, new shoes, apparel, golf balls, equipment, lessons or food for fuel. Pop in, it's a one stop golf shop.
   To kick off the golf season, a Cabin Fever Tournament takes place March 7. This four person scramble is just $100 per group and that includes the cart but not green fees. There will be a barbecue lunch before play. Tee times will start at 1 p.m. Entries for the tournament will be accepted through March 4.
   Tinker Golf Course offers something for everyone with a beautifully landscaped course, rental clubs, a fully stocked pro shop, PGA pros on staff, fantastic food at "Tinker BBQ & Grill" and much more!    More than just barbecue, Tinker BBQ & Grill offers an array of delicious choices from breakfast served hot and fresh every morning to the taco salads on Tuesdays where a tasty taco salad and drink are just $4.95, and the Tinker Ace; sliced brisket and hot link covered in slaw, served on a toasted bun with a choice of side order for just $5.50 everyday.
   Tournaments coming up include the April Fool Tournament on April 1, The Four Majors held April 12-13, June 14-15, July 19-20, and August 9-10, the Memorial Day Tournament May 24-26 and many more through September.
   The Spring Demo Day, April 24 from 1-6 p.m., offers a chance to try out the latest products from vendors such as Hogan, Nickent, Ping, Wilson, Callaway, Titleist, Taylor Made, Cleveland, Mizuno, Cobra, Paragon, Nike and Adams. Free hotdogs, bratwurst, hotlinks and beverages will be provided. Demo day is also a perfect opportunity to ask the professionals important questions about clubs, swing, stance etc... Demo Day has become a tradition here at Tinker and is attended by several hundred people twice a year.
