The Tinker Library is introducing a new pre-school oriented story time, which will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday mornings. The new story time will feature craft projects and stories geared to pre-school aged children. The original afternoon story time will remain at 4 p.m. Thursdays.
   On the shelf: The library has a wide selection of books, audiocassettes, CDs and DVDs. Patrons may checkout a total of three DVDs or VHS movies for seven days. 
   Ten audiovisual materials, including CDs, books on CD, audiocassettes and non-fiction VHS tapes, may be checked out for three weeks. New adult fiction books include:
"37" by Maria Beaumont
"The Chase" by Clive Cussler
"Duma Key" by Stephen King
"Memo to the President-elect" by Madeleine Albright and Bill Woodward
"Woman of the House: the rise of Nancy Pelosi" by Vincent Bzdek
   The Tinker Library catalog is available online at www.tinkerservices.com. On the Services site, click on the library's page. From there, click the highlighted URL address to look up everything from books, books on tape and CD, music and DVDs.
   Library patrons are invited to make request for their favorite book, CDs and DVDs. The library staff needs as much information as possible on the item such as title, author and ISBN number. 
   The library opens weekdays at 8 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 5 p.m. on Fridays. Weekend hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.
