TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Chaplain (Capt.) Okechukwu Nwaneri has served in the U.S. Air Force for 13 years.
Originally from Washington, D.C., Nwaneri enjoys bodybuilding.
The chapel’s mission of serving the Tinker community didn’t stop, despite the coronavirus pandemic. Nwaneri recently organized the 2020 COVID Olympics, which gave Airmen living in the dorms a chance to get out into the sunshine and participate in physical activity.
“I love serving the Airmen and being a beacon of hope in their lives,” the chaplain said.
