As we draw closer to the end of the year, I want to take the time to wish everyone Happy Holidays!

This is a wonderful time of year filled with the anticipation of miracles and a new start in a new year. I want all of us to come back recharged, refreshed and ready to make things better tomorrow than they are today. I also ask that you watch out for one another. For some, this time of year is emotionally rough -- Please reach out to your Wingmen, who may need you. We need everyone to return from the holidays in one piece -- everyone is vital to the success of the Air Force mission.

We stood up the new Air Force Sustainment Center and are operating better today than when we started. I'm excited to set the bar even higher this coming year as we strive for "Art of the Possible" results. Our Air Force is counting on us.

As we enjoy the festivities of the season, please remember there are thousands of troops in harm's way. I want to extend my appreciation and support to our servicemembers overseas and their families back home. We ask a lot of our military members and their families, and being separated during this time of year can make the sacrifice that much more difficult.

My hope for this holiday season is that whatever your tradition, that you take pride in your individual celebrations and reflect upon the miracles it brings.

My New England family tradition is to celebrate Christmas, so please accept my wish for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Keep'em Flying!
