AFSC Spotlight: Meet Chaplain Jones

Chaplain Jones, originally from Bossier City, Louisiana, has served in the Air Force for eight years. Part of the Tinker Chapel’s COVID response is offering secure counselling virtually and manning the Latte Lounge daily. Jones says working with young people and Airmen is the best part of his job. “I’ve been in ministry for 31 years and this is my way of giving back to the Air Force,” he says. “To me, it’s no greater job to actually pour into young people as they pour into you. It keeps you current, which is why I know a lot of social media things __ because of them.”
