Colonel Harris is the commander of the 76th Propulsion Maintenance Group, Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. In this capacity, Harris oversees the operations of the Air Force and Navy aircraft engines. With a workforce of approximately 1,900 personnel, $1.5 billion in facilities and state-of-the-art equipment, he directs the repair of engines and major engine assemblies for B-1, B-2, B-52, C-17, E-3, E-6, F-15, F-16, F-22, F-35 and KC-RC/135 aircraft. Harris has the financial management responsibility for a 1.8 million-hour workload, with an annual operations budget in excess of $1.5 billion.
Harris enlisted into the Air Force in 1997 as a KC- 135 Crew Chief. He received his commission in 2002 from Officer Training School. Colonel Harris is a career aircraft maintenance officer with leadership positions at the squadron, group, directorate, wing, center, and combatant command levels. He is a graduate of the Air Force Logistics Career Broadening Program and served as Executive Officer to the Commander of the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center and the Air Force Sustainment Center.
