EFMP and Families with Special Needs Open House May 9

TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. --

The Tinker Club will host an open house from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. May 9 for the Exceptional Family Member Program and Families with Special Needs.

The event is an opportunity to bring together EFMP families, those families with special care coordination needs and various base and local area support agencies. These will include: EFMP-Medical, EFMP Force Support, EFMP Assignments, Tricare Humana, 72nd MDG benefits advisor, and more.

This is a great opportunity to develop relationships, gain updates on support programs and make recommendations for program improvements. Children are welcome to attend.

During this forum, organizers would like guests to talk about which support/programs offered by Tinker AFB and the Greater Oklahoma community are beneficial and which support/programs need improvement. The partnership will help identify unmet needs and work to ensure the very best support for military families.

Those who can’t be in attendance and would like to ask questions or provide feedback, should call or email Master Sgt. Porsha Harris, 72nd Medical Support Squadron, at 582-6342 or porsha.harris@us.af.mil.
