A record setting crowd of over 100,000 gathered to watch the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds May 20 during the Star Spangled Salute Air Show at Tinker Air Force Base, Okla. There were more than 60,000 in attendance May 21. For the first time in Tinker air show history, officials closed the incoming gates to visitors after reaching parking capacity.
