The Host Aviation Resource Management team, with the 72nd Operations Support Squadron, was recently honored with a Wildcatter Award from 72nd Air Base Wing Commander Col. Kenyon K. Bell.

The HARM is the base focal point for aviation and parachutists records for all members assigned to Tinker AFB. They manage the second largest flight and jump records inventory in the Air Force with more than 1,900 records. During this time, the team certified 69 new students for aviation service, publishing 286 aeronautical orders recertifying aviation service, awarding aeronautical badges, separating and retiring fliers and parachutists. They worked 63 aviation incentive pay cases resolving issues ranging from start and stop date discrepancies to incorrect aviation service dates affecting the amount of pay a member receives. The team conducted records reviews daily with members and conducted 297 reviews during the quarter. They also work with the 552nd Air Control Wing daily to ensure the most up-to-date information is in the Aviation Resource Management System. This allows the line flying squadrons to verify that the aircrew can fly on a moment’s notice. The HARM coordinates with 11 squadrons on base and at Will Rogers World Airport on issues affecting all 1C0X2s. They received zero write-ups and findings during an AFMC/A3 staff assistance visit.
