Base Operating Status, Feb. 21 - Remains OPEN Published Feb. 21, 2018 Tinker AFB Public Affairs TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- The operating status for Tinker Air Force Base for Wednesday, Feb. 21 remains "OPEN". Although liberal leave HAS NOT been authorized, supervisors will consider the individual situations of their employees when making individual leave decisions. Tinker officials will continue to monitor the weather and will notify personnel if the operating status will change. Base personnel should continue to monitor local television and radio stations for Tinker operating status information or go to the installation's public home page at www.tinker.af.mil, facebook page, or call Tinker's Straight Talkline at 734-1900. Personnel are reminded not to call, base operations, the Tinker command post or security forces for weather updates.
