We need volunteers! I’m hoping that some of you reading this will be willing to share three hours a week of your time to support the mission of Tinker Air Force Base. We all served our time on active duty but now it is time to “continue to serve” by helping man locations where active military manning needs help to speed up their service to you. We have volunteers who work at the Tinker Pharmacy – the folks who greet you when you pick up your prescriptions; we have other folks working in the ID/DEERS office to help you set appointments and answer questions about documents needed for ID cards; we also have volunteer spaces at the Retiree Activities office – answering phones and questions for retirees who need assistance. If you feel you can spare a few hours a week, email lorraine.caddy@us.af.mil or stop by our office in Bldg. #1, Door #7, Room 153. We would love to chat with you about the duties for each of these facilities.

Be sure to attend the Military Retiree Appreciation Day activities Nov. 2 and share the information with your retired friends. We would love to see you on that day. Our planning staff has only two more meetings before the big day, so if you have questions or suggestions contact us by emailing lorraine.caddy@us.af.mil or call 739-2795. We welcome any and all comments.

Have an enjoyable and safe October.
