Happy 2020 from the Tinker Fire and Emergency Services Fire Prevention branch. We would like to start this new decade with a new fire prevention message across the base: “Leap into the Roaring ’20s, not into Roaring Fires.”

We understand that accidents happen, but with the right training and education you can build your muscle memory and greatly reduce the factors that can cause accidents.

There is a 911 emergency call center located on Tinker Air Force Base, along with a dedicated Fire and Emergency Services department in place. The Fire Prevention branch is located in Bldg. 117 with Tinker’s Fire and Emergency Services headquarters.

We are promoting year-round fire prevention this year and can be accessible for fire prevention questions. You will see us in the community and workplaces throughout the year partnering with Balfour Beatty, the 72nd Force Support Squadron and the Army and Air Force Exchange Service.

We are looking forward to visiting and interacting with you on this new roaring ’20s adventure. Our community is expanding and the processes are advancing for an ever-changing force.

Call 734-3981 for fire prevention questions and needs, but for all fire emergencies, call 911. It is imperative that you understand the difference, because it can be the literal difference between life and death. We are here 24 hours a day and 366 days a year to serve you, your family and your office.
