AFSC Spotlight: Meet Chaplain Sam Bridges

Chaplain Sam Bridges, originally from Lufkin, Texas, has served in the U.S. Air Force for 31 years. In his free time, he likes gardening, landscaping and watching sports, especially baseball, with his wife. The main duties of the chaplain corps are to ensure active duty military and Tinker personnel have the right to exercise their freedom of religion and also advise leadership on the morale and spiritual wellness of Airmen. Bridges enjoys his job because he loves taking care of people.
