TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- For 23 April, Tinker AFB remains in HPCON Charlie due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Big news: Two new COVID-19 test centers have opened. On 23 March 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a Public Health Emergency for the installation was declared, and was set to expire on 22 April 2020. Based on consultation with a Public Health Emergency Officer, the PHE has been extended for another 30 days. This adds no major changes for the base.
The Straight Talk Center for non-medical related COVID-19 concerns is available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday thru Friday. It can be reached at 405-734-2567.
