TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Delbert Alt is an Emergency Management specialist in the Tinker Emergency Operations Center.
He has served in the office for nine months and was a prior active duty fuel systems mechanic and in EM for the Air National Guard. He also worked many years for Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita, Kansas.
Originally from Toledo, Ohio, Alt enjoys bicycle riding and playing with his grandkids.
His main duty in the EOC is logistics -- making sure all the equipment is ready, ordering supplies and making sure the office has everything they need to do their job to support the base’s needs.
He says the best part of his job is “this team and having a manager that supports us.”
