For 29 June, Tinker AFB remains in HPCON Bravo due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The latest COVID-19 confirmed cases include a military member assigned to 72 OSS in building 955, a military member of 552 ACW in building 282, and a Navy member assigned to VQ3. Health officials are actively tracing all recent movements and contacts in conjunction with affected units and local health authorities. Anyone considered to have been exposed to increased risk will be contacted directly.

July’s AFMC Connect theme, “Resilient,” is especially timely in light of our on-going challenges with COVID-19, as well as the recent events that have highlighted racial disparities in the U.S. and our service.  Several toolkits, including spouse resilience, on both of these topics can be found at www.resilience.af.mil.

State-wide cases are trending sharply upward. Just one week away from the 4th of July holiday, it is important for us to reinforce installation policy and energetically address healthy behaviors such as social distancing, wearing masks where you cannot distance, washing hands often, and keeping work areas clean. As a reminder, the public gathering policy can be found here: https://www.tinker.af.mil/Portals/106/Documents/covid/Installation%20Public%20Gathering%20Policy.pdf?ver=2020-06-02-150642-197

Important to note, please don’t forget in every case to contact the Medical Group COVID-19 Public Health Hotline at 405-582-6297 with any questions or concerns. If you get tested at one of the Free Testing Sites, and test positive, you must contact this Hotline.
