For 13 July, Tinker AFB remains in HPCON Bravo Plus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The latest confirmed cases through Friday and Saturday include 2 civilians from OC-ALC ((B2122, B3001), a 448 SCMW civilian (B3001), 1 Navy member assigned to MEPS, a DLA civilian (B506), a 507 ARW member (B1020), a 72 OMRS member (B1094), and 4 dependents. Health officials are actively tracing all recent movements and contacts in conjunction with affected units and local health authorities. Anyone considered to have been exposed to increased risk will be contacted directly.

The Department of Defense has approved award of the Armed Forces Service Medal and Humanitarian Service Medal to recognize service members for their qualifying participation in COVID-19 operations or activities.  Both Active and Reserve Component members are eligible for such recognition. Military Department Secretaries determine eligibility for award to service members in their respective Military Department, based on DoD award criteria.
