Update from the Installation Commander

TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. --

For 16 July, Tinker AFB remains in HPCON Bravo Plus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The latest confirmed cases include 4 civilians from OC-ALC (B3102, B2211, B2136, B3001), 2 contractors working from B3001, and an AFSC civilian and AFLCMC civilian both assigned to B3001. Health officials are actively tracing all recent movements and contacts in conjunction with affected units and local health authorities. Anyone considered to have been exposed to increased risk will be contacted directly.

The Oklahoma State Department of Health has developed the Oklahoma COVID-19 Alert System; a four-tiered risk measurement tool with corresponding color categories that identify the current COVID-19 risk level. This tool offers the public and local officials an easy way to recognize each county’s risk level and trends in comparison to other counties around the state. This system can be found here: https://coronavirus.health.ok.gov/covid-19-alert-system#:~:text=The%20Oklahoma%20State%20Department%20of,recognize%20each%20county's%20risk%20level.

This week, AFMC released an updated strategic plan identifying four key focus areas as the organization continues to ensure the Air and Space Forces remain ready to fly, fight and win today and into the future.
