For July 20, Tinker AFB remains in HPCON Bravo Plus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The latest confirmed cases include a grounds maintenance contractor, a 552 ACW member (B282), an OC-ALC member (B3001), and 2 military and 4 civilians who work off the installation. Health officials are actively tracing all recent movements and contacts in conjunction with affected units and local health authorities. Anyone considered to have been exposed to increased risk will be contacted directly.

The Oklahoma City County Health Department has used contact tracing data to identify "hotspots" where many residents are contracting COVID-19.  OCCHD epidemiologists collected data from June 23 through July 14 and determined specific locations where residents of Oklahoma County are contracting the virus. The hotspots include restaurants, bars, daycare centers, gyms and athletic events, faith-based venues and intimate gatherings (weddings, funerals, house parties).
