Jordan C. Navarro is a logistics planner in the 72nd Logistics Readiness Squadron.

A self-proclaimed “Air Force brat,” Navarro was born at Howard Air Force Base, Panama, and claims Florida as his home state. He enjoys traveling, but that has been affected by the coronavirus pandemic. He also loves to dance and once was a Salsa/Bachata dance instructor. Navarro has been concentrating on finishing his master’s degree and, after the 2020 summer semester will have only three classes left.

Navarro has served in the Air Force Reserve since 2010 and worked as an aircraft structural specialist and a logistics planner. He has been in civil service since 2013, working for the Department of Homeland Security before starting his civilian career with the Air Force.

As a logistics planner, Navarro manages deployments/redeployments, readiness programs and makes sure processes are effective with no delays.  He said he enjoys his job as “no day is the same, there is always something to learn and nothing stays stagnant. Things always change constantly keeping me engaged.”

Navarro said COVID-19 has impacted his job and has “forced us to find alternative ways of accomplishing tasks because the mission has not stopped.”
