For July 31, Tinker AFB remains in HPCON Bravo Plus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The latest organizations and buildings where cases have occurred include the 552 ACW (B230, B282), 507 ARW (B1047) and OC-ALC (B9001). Health officials are actively tracing all recent movements and contacts in conjunction with affected units and local health authorities. Anyone considered to have been exposed to increased risk will be contacted directly.

As we continue our important missions in this pandemic environment, Team Tinker members have done well adhering to CDC guidance and the installation's policies on work and public gatherings. While new COVID-19 cases across the nation continue to rise significantly, Tinker has experienced a declining trend in average new cases per day. Cases have gone down every day for 11 consecutive days. This is outstanding news. However, we know how fast these trends can change. The current trend is only possible because you and your teammates and family members have complied with CDC guidance and Tinker's policies. Keep it up!

Starting today, Team Tinker’s daily COVID-19 update will no longer report individual cases due to OPSEC considerations and guidance from the Secretary of Defense. However, the update will continue to identify organizations and buildings where cases have occurred in order to provide the daily transparency to help you and your family manage risks.

REMINDER: Don’t forget in every case to contact the Medical Group COVID-19 Public Health Hotline at 405-582-6297 with any questions or concerns. If you get tested at one of the Free Testing Sites, and test positive, you must contact this Hotline. Violations of OPSEC endanger national security! Never discuss mission capabilities or details on social media. Also, please refrain from mentioning names of potentially ill individuals for privacy.
