TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Today’s Tinker Spotlight shines on Randy Brence, a quality assurance management analyst in the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex.
Brence serves as an activity inspection auditor for the OC-ALC’s Quality Assurance Office. AI’s are process audits conducted quarterly on predetermined maintenance processes such training, tool control, equipment, tech data and production support functions, to name a few.
Brence is improving the perception of activity inspections one customer at a time. His easy-going demeanor and a sincere desire to help have promoted a team approach to identifying and eliminating any issues during his inspections. His extensive aviation maintenance experience makes him the perfect sounding board for supervisors unsuccessfully attempting to alleviate constraints. He uses his network of engineers and technical experts to research and perform risk assessments on discrepancies and on two different occasions, assets were recalled.
