Dozens of people gathered outside the Wright Flyer Monument at Tinker Air Force Base for a Martin Luther King Jr. Unity March Ceremony.

Attendees, including 72nd Air Base Wing leadership, began the march near the intersection of Arnold St. and Air Depot Blvd. The group then walked down Arnold Street to the Tinker Event Center for a ceremony.

Stephanie Wilson, Tinker Air Force Base Civil Engineer, was a guest speaker. Wilson spoke to the crowd about the impact of MLK Jr.’s speeches on her life.

The event was organized by the Tinker Air Force Base Black Heritage Council.
