Preparations are being made for Tinker's annual Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting, which will begin at 5 p.m. Dec. 3.

The parade will begin at the Tinker Elementary School and conclude with the tree lighting at Tinker Club. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be here to take part in the holiday festivities. This free event is open to everyone who has access to the base.

The tree lighting will take place in front of the Tinker Club where the Penn Square Carolers will sing holiday songs and then move inside the club for free refreshments and entertainment by the Youth Center Sugar Plum dancers.

Children will have an opportunity to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus throughout the evening and see live reindeer.

The holiday party is sponsored by the Tinker Federal Credit Union.
