Bushee, Lucky win Senior Championship Golf Tournament Published Oct. 4, 2012 By Mike W. Ray Tinker Public Affairs TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Thirty-four golfers over the age of 50 ignored the inclement weather last weekend to participate in the two-day Senior Championship Tournament at the Tinker Golf Course. After 36 holes of competition, Joe Bushee was declared the 2012 Senior Champion with a final raw score of 147, and Dave Depue, who shot a 151, came in second. The 2012 Senior Net Champion was Bob Lucky, who had a net score of 138. (The final net score is determined by subtracting the player's handicap from the raw score.) Bushee and Depue tied for second, at 141 each. In the Super Senior division (eight golfers, aged 65 or older), Lucky placed first on both the final score (152) and final net score (138). Other golfers who played in the tournament included Gorden Jesse, Mike Harris, John Stancil, Richard Brush, Ed Canterbury, Bob Queen, Rod McKinley, Sal Neglia, Mike Dunn, Randy Warner, Charles Bullard, Ken Brothers, Dave Ralston, Rick Dupuis, Mark Landini, Mike Moccia, Dan Callahan, Richard Ogger, Paul Matney, Mel Parham, George Lattimore, Roger Stanhouse, Dale Bradshaw, John Traugott, Roy Black, J.C. Whisenhunt, Gary Hampton, Micky Malone, Tom Davidson, Spencer Harris, and Brett Moler. "Usually we hold this tournament in July, but this year we moved it to the end of September in order to avoid the summer heat," said Moler, who coordinated the event. "We never envisioned a September monsoon."
