Golf tournament results

The Memorial Day Tournament at the Tinker Golf Course attracted 27 two-person teams, Brett Moler reported.

The format varied each of the three days of the event, he noted: May 26, team low ball; May 27, alternate shot; and May 28, team scramble.

The teams were divided into two flights of 10 teams each and one of seven teams. Players on each team had to have handicaps of no more than eight strokes' difference between them.

The golfers included:

Augusta Flight: first place, Scott Donovan and Drew Pasada, total score 194; second place, Jeff Richter and Josh Richter, total score 196; third place, Bryce and Chris Williams, 202; fourth place, Mike Harris and Brian Tatum, 206.

Other teams in Augusta Flight were Kevin Caton and Randy Warner, 207; Randy Donner and Mike Wang, 207; Keith Kozma and Levi Rosecrans, 208; Donnie Erlix and Charles Harris, 210; Dennis Nealsen and Mel Nailion, 218; Grant Harrell and Jason Martinek, 221.

Olympic Club Flight: first place, John Parsley and Jeff Gates, total score 215; second place, Eric Buchanan and Steve Morley, 218; third place, Brian Wang and Burbon Posada, 219; fourth, Chris Larman and Mike Morgan, 219.

Other teams in the Olympic Club Flight were Mike Dunn and Dale Caradonna, 220; Jim Gift and Kelly Wyatt, 223; Dan Callahan and Bob Newburn, 225; Lynn Ellingsen and Mark Landini, 227; George Latimere and Ken Owens, 229; Mike Moccia and Joe Tirone, 231.

Royal Latham Flight: first place, J.C. Whisenhunt and Dave Williams, total score 228; second place, Cody Rosecrans and Josh Rosecrans, 228; third place, Roy Black and Armando Perez, 233. Other teams in Royal Latham Flight were Ken Brothers and Doug Matney, 237; Spencer Harris and Gary Hampton, 243; Pete Piazza and Jim Freeman, 249; and Tom Heslink and Brett Moler, 260.
