Ray Tinker Public Affairs TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Fifteen bowlers recorded the top scores at the Tinker Bowling Center during the 2011-2012 league season, and three others had the highest scores in a tournament last Saturday, General Manager Brett Moler announced recently. The top honor scores recorded in any single game during the 32-week season (September 2011 through April 2012) included: Robert Perkins, a perfect 300 game on Sept. 7; Jimmy Taylor, a 300 game on Nov. 10; Arian Lowe, 300 on Jan. 27; Merle Norman, 300 on March 21; Dorothy Deatherage, 300 on Jan. 8; Tom Voght, 299 on Oct. 11; Paul Brewbaker III, 299 on Oct. 14; James Griffis, 299 on March 9; Richard Babb, 299 on Jan. 11; John Gambill, 299 on Nov. 10. Also, Edward Miller rolled a 298; Kathleen Kelley bowled a 289 on Feb. 24; Edith Lowe, 289 on Sept. 24; and Rhonda Wright, 279 on Nov. 4. The highest honor scores logged during any three-game series during the season were: James Griffis, 835 on March 9; Wayne Goodlin, 809 on Oct. 17; John Gambill, 800 on April 5; Rhonda Wright, 739 on Dec. 13; and Kathleen Kelley, 710 on Nov. 22. An Armed Forces Day 9-Pin, No-Tap Tournament on May 19 drew eight contestants. Daniel Wexstaff bowled the highest score, Josh Graver placed second and John Hill was third, Moler reported.
