Iszard Pool to open; Gerrity Pool closed Published April 27, 2012 72nd Force Support Squadron TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Spring is here and summer is just around the corner. The Iszard Pool will open for the season May 26 with great programs such as open recreational swimming, pool pavilion rental, fit to fight, morning lap swim and traditional pool parties. Unfortunately, the Gerrity Pool will not open this year due to major repairs, maintenance and labor expenses required in excess of $100,000. The Iszard Pool will be open for recreational swimming from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays during the season. Lap swimming will be offered from 6 to 11:50 a.m. Tuesdays through Fridays. Daily fees will be $3 per person. Season passes are $40 for individuals. Passes for families are $75 for three to five members, $85 for six to eight members and $95 for nine or more. Pool pavilion rental will be available from 6 to 8 p.m., six days a week. Cost is $45 and includes the Iszard pavilion. For more information, call Outdoor Recreation at 734-2289.
