Construction project at Liberator Gate Published March 30, 2012 72nd Security Forces Squadron TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Workers with the Oklahoma City Maintenance Department notified the 72nd Security Forces Squadron of a construction project to repair a faulty traffic light pressure plate at the outbound lanes of Liberator Gate (Gate 21). Work begins today or Monday, weather permitting, and it should be completed by April 23. During construction, traffic leaving base will segregate one lane at a time, allowing for one exit lane to be open at all times. Inbound traffic will not be affected. Personnel are advised to exit the installation at another gate during this time. Personnel exiting Gate 21 are advised to take extra precautions when driving around the construction site itself.
