O'Brien Tinker Public Affairs TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- You, too, can do more The Air Force recently released an online voluntary energy awareness training module. Available to personnel with a common access card, the Air Force Energy Awareness Course is found on the Advanced Distributed Learning Service Gateway's Air Force Civil Engineer Support Agency, or AFCESA, Website. "This is a great way to get people thinking and to be knowledgeable about saving energy," said Britton Young, Tinker's Energy Team point-of-contact in the 72nd Air Base Wing Civil Engineer Directorate. "I encourage everyone to get out there to learn the Air Force's stance and goals, and find a way to contribute. If everyone does one thing, it could make a big difference and imagine if we did it all across the Air Force." The 15-minutes self-paced course is organized by seven parts including an overview of the Air Force strategy on energy security and conservation, individual interests and tips as to how to incorporate energy awareness into on and off-duty time.
