Serving Tinker
Col. John T. Rauch, 552nd Air Control Wing commander, right, serves a turkey dinner to a 552nd Maintenance Group family member Nov. 23 in Bldg. 230, Dock 2. In all, Colonel Rauch and several other wing senior leaders served meals to approximately 1,300 Airmen at three different times throughout the day. Just for the noon meal alone, caterers brought in 375 pounds of ham and turkey, 300 pounds of stuffing and mashed potatoes, 300 pounds of corn and green beans, 62 dozen dinner rolls and dozens of desserts to feed the hungry Airmen. “As leaders, it’s the least we can do to give back to our Airmen and their families to let them know how much we appreciate what they do for our Air Force,” said 552nd ACW Command Chief Master Sgt. Eddie J. Compton, who was also on hand to help serve the meals. “We have so much to be thankful for and this is just one way we can show our appreciation to the troops.” (Air Force photo by Darren D.
