Chapel to hold National Prayer Luncheon

The Tinker Chapel will hold its annual National Prayer Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 25 at the Tinker Club.

This year's guest speaker is Chaplain (Col.) Steven A. Schaick the deputy command chaplain for Headquarters Air Combat Command. As the deputy, he assists the command chaplain in ensuring that all of ACCs chaplains and chaplain assistants are ready and prepared for global deployment. He is responsible for providing functional leadership to all ACC bases and other chaplain units, to include developing chaplain policies, plans, programs, readiness and contingency requirements and religious support for more than 200 active duty Chaplain Corps members serving 100,000 active duty and civilian personnel at 14 wings, 20 bases and more than 200 operating locations worldwide.

Tickets for the luncheon are $5 each and are available now via electronic invitation. The menu for the luncheon is the "Deli Lover's Delight," which includes turkey sandwich on a hoagie bun, potato salad, dessert and coffee/tea service. Those who have a special dietary need should inform the chapel staff at the time of purchasing tickets. Tickets may be purchased online at http://tinyurl.com/2011NPL.
