The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center will soon have a new executive director. Ross Marshall will succeed John Over, who is leaving Tinker for an overseas deployment assignment.

Mr. Marshall comes to Tinker from Air Force Materiel Command Headquarters at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. There since September 2008, he served as the deputy director of Logistics in the Logistics Directorate.

Appointed to Senior Executive Service in 2007, Mr. Marshall has a wealth of knowledge from an array of positions. He's worked in logistics, engineering, maintenance and with several weapon systems.

Even though this is Mr. Marshall's first assignment at Tinker, he is well versed in the ways of an air logistics center. Mr. Marshall has spent the majority of his career, all but three assignments, stationed at Ogden Air Logistics Center at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.

Mr. Marshall earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah in 1982 and began his civil service career in 1986. He has two master's degrees. In 1997, he earned a public administration master's degree from his undergraduate alma mater. Ten years later, he earned a master's degree in strategic studies from the Air War College at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala.
