Tinker's Honor Guard is looking for dedicated Airmen. The unit is holding an initial training session Oct. 25-Nov. 5 for Airmen -- officer and enlisted -- who would like to join and are endorsed by their unit's first sergeant.

Interested Airmen should contact their unit's first sergeants, who must submit names for the training class to the honor guard by Oct. 20. Names can be sent via e-mail to honorguard@tinker.af.mil. The NCOIC of training will contact the students and pass along reporting instructions for the first day of class.

To be eligible, each Airman must have at least one year of time left on station and be committed to the Honor Guard for 12 months.

Honor guard members serve two weeks at a time with a month break in between rotations.
